Dosage for adults: 2 capsules/day (with food).

Why does the product contain three different forms of magnesium?

Different forms of magnesium have different absorption profiles and work differently in the body. Combining three highly bioavailable forms provides broader and more complete magnesium support than taking just one form.

Magnesium bisglycinate – amino acid bound form with exceptional absorption (up to 80-90%). Glycine is a calming neurotransmitter that promotes relaxation and sleep quality. Extremely stomach-friendly and does not cause a laxative effect.

Magnesium Malate – bound to malic acid (malate) which plays a central role in the Krebs cycle, the body's energy production. Particularly valuable for energy levels, muscle function and recovery. Popular among athletes and people with fatigue.

Magnesium taurate – bound to the amino acid taurine. Supports the cardiovascular system, blood pressure and nervous system. Taurine enhances the calming properties of magnesium and has its own benefits for heart health.

Synergistic effect:
All three forms have documented high bioavailability (40-80% absorption), but complementary benefits. Instead of choosing ONE form and missing out on the benefits of the others – you get the best of all three worlds in every dose.

When should I take Triple Magnesium?

We recommend 1 capsule in the morning and 1 capsule in the evening with food, for even absorption. Alternatively, 2 capsules in the evening with food.

Magnesium malate can provide an energy boost, but taking it in the evening is rarely a problem. Here's why:

Magnesium malate and energy:

  • Malate (from malic acid) plays a role in the Krebs cycle (energy production in cells)
  • Can provide some energy boost, but the effect is mild, not like caffeine.

But Triple Magnesium also contains:

  • Magnesium glycinate – calming, promotes relaxation and sleep (glycine is an inhibitory neurotransmitter)
  • Magnesium taurate – supports the heart and nervous system, has calming properties

Recommendation:
Most people can take Triple Magnesium at any time of day. The calming effect from glycinate and taurate balances the energizing effect from malate.

If you are sensitive:

  • Take in the morning/early afternoon if you want to maximize the energy effect
  • Take in the evening if you want to prioritize relaxation and sleep support

Is the product suitable for vegetarians and vegans?

Yes, Triple Magnesium is 100% vegetarian. The capsules are made from HPMC (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose) which is a vegetable capsule, and the product contains no animal ingredients.

Does the product contain magnesium stearate?

No, Triple Magnesium is completely free of magnesium stearate. We use magnesium salts of vegetable fatty acids as an anti-caking agent instead.

Can I take Triple Magnesium together with other dietary supplements?

Yes, magnesium can normally be combined with other supplements. If you are taking prescription medication, we recommend that you consult your doctor, as magnesium can in some cases affect the absorption of certain medications.

What is the difference between elemental magnesium and the different forms?

Elemental magnesium is the actual amount of pure magnesium you are getting. The different forms (malate, bisglycinate, taurate) are magnesium bound to other substances that improve absorption. In total, 1200 mg of magnesium malate, 350 mg of magnesium bisglycinate, and 140 mg of magnesium taurate together provide 233 mg of elemental magnesium per serving.
